Boulder-Dushanbe Teahouse gets refresher from visiting Tajik artist
Now, through the end of January, Marufjon Mirakhmatov, a Tajik artist who is the grandson of a master woodcarver who helped assemble the Teahouse once it was shipped here as a gift to Boulder from the people of Dushanbe, is in Boulder leading a restoration project that is truly a labor of love. Mayor Hancock Announces 2018 Mayor’s Design Awards Winners
Mayor Michael B. Hancock will honor 17 projects for excellence in architecture, design and place-making during the 2018 Mayor’s Design Awards ceremony tonight at 6 p.m. at the Chambers Grant Salon of the Ellie Caulkins Opera House.
ENVD student wins Ken Roberts Memorial Delineation Competition
Majed Alghamdi, an ENVD sophomore, was awarded the 2018 winner of the HKS award for best hand delineation by a student hand, from the AIA Dallas Ken Roberts Memorial Delineation Competition.
