Armando Ayala Environmental product design major Armando Ayala plans to join a startup or design firm after graduation, and then pursue his own entrepreneurial goals. 


Armando AyalaIt was awesome being able to go to a design school where a majority of the students are extremely passionate and had so many unique and creative ideas.

What inspired you to come to ENVD when choosing your school?
Interest in sustainable design and product life cycles.

What is one of the greatest experiences or lessons from your time at CU Boulder that you'll carry with you into the next chapter of your life?
Ideas are cheap. In order to make something happen, you have to go through with it.

Based on what you know now, what is your best piece of advice for other students?
Time management is the most important skill a person can have.

Describe one of your favorite memories.
My summer internship in Ecuador with other ENVD students was definitely a highlight.

What does graduating from college represent for you?
It means a lot being able to graduate from college. This represents the end of my formal education and the start of both my self-education and adult life.

What are your plans beyond graduation?
Join a startup or design firm. Then pursue my own entrepreneurial goals.
