Laser Registration

When researchers acquire a new Class 3B or Class 4 laser, it must be registered with the Laser Safety Office. To do this, please complete the Laser Registration Form and email the completed form to the Laser Safety Officer.

Once submitted, the laser will be documented and added to the lab’s Equipment tab in SciShield. This step is essential to ensure proper tracking, compliance, and safety oversight for all laser systems used on campus.
