Josie Metcalfe

My name is Josie Metcalfe and I am a Junior majoring Elementary Education with minors in both Journalism and Leadership Studies. I am from a very small town in Northern California called Jackson. Growing up in a small community I learned to love and cherish those around me. Having a community who is always there to support one another is something truly amazing and it is what inspired me to become a teacher. Creating a space for students to have community with one another is something I can't wait to foster in my future classroom! I enjoy reading, spending time with friends and love to volunteer.
