A WISE-grant supported project to design and implement an opportunity for current CU Teach students to work alongside veteran teachers from local school districts to participate in a 2-day workshop that positions engineering design challenges as valuable "anchoring activities" for math and science teachers to facilitate specific math and science learning. From this workshop, we will identify a cohort of up to 8 teachers and potentially some CU Teach students who will take what they learned from the project and engage in a year-long process of selecting anchoring activities and producing the math and science curriculum.
