Join us for Teacher Appreciation Day with the Buffs on Feb. 20

Calling all #EdBuffs: enjoy discounted basketball tickets and join us for Teacher Appreciation Day with the Buffs on Thursday, Feb 20. The CU Boulder men's basketball team will take on USC at the CU Events Center at 7 p.m. As a partnership with CU Athletics, this event recognizes dedicated, local teachers on the court during the game. Discounted tickets are available for all educators, families and friends. 

In addition, join us for hors d'oeuvres, beverages and mingling at a special reception from 5:30-6:30 p.m. for alumni and friends of the School of Education. Note: you will need tickets to the game to attend the reception.

Six CU Boulder School of Education alumni and partner teachers will receive special recognition at the event:

• Diana Bustamante-Aguilar, a history teacher at Denver South High School (Denver Public Schools) in Denver. 
• Mary Gilreath, a 1st grade teacher at University Hill Elementary School (Boulder Valley School District) in Boulder.
• Tori Hardy, a 4th grade teacher at Pennock Elementary School (27J Schools) in Brighton.
• Brian Huey, a 4th grade teacher at Burlington Elementary School (St. Vrain Valley School District) in Longmont.
• Meghan Mosher, a science teacher at Monarch High School (Boulder Valley School District) in Boulder. 
• Yesenia Perez, a 3rd grade teacher at Cottonwood Plains Elementary School (Thompson School District) in Loveland.
