Aspen Heidekrueger is a Colorado native who is currently a junior at CU Boulder. She is pursuing a bachelor's degree in philosophy and is interested in the study of ethics and metaphysics. Aspen is also a leukemia survivor who underwent three years of chemotherapy treatment during her high school career. In addition to her academic pursuits, she has devoted much of her free time to designing and building a blog called Complicated Cancer. Her goals for this new blog are to share her own story, spread awareness about cancer, and support, encourage, and offer advice to other cancer patients and survivors.
