Brown Promo 2

Did you ever ask the questions "Why is the Sky Blue?" or  "Why are sunsets orange?"  Professor Brown asked these question's in his youth...and now a stellar team of atmospheric scientists demonstrate in a very entertaining way, some answers to these very questions! This show brings the  “What’s up with air?” down to Earth, highlighting unique properties of air's main ingredients: nitrogen, oxygen, argon and water. But things really get interesting as stealthy, one-in-a-billion types of chemicals are gradually added to the mix!  Students will gain appreciation for the Earth's sunscreen, that vulnerable layer of ozone high in the atmosphere that protects us from harmful UV rays of sunlight.   This show demonstrates the fascinating chemistry of air while introducing students K-12 to the fascinating story of the Earth’s atmosphere!
