E-Let’s Talk is a free service where CU Boulder students can check in via telehealth for an informal and confidential consultation with a counselor.
No appointment is necessary. Students are seen on a first-come, first-served basis at various times throughout the week.
Let’s Talk counselors can help provide insight, solutions and information about additional resources. Students commonly visit with concerns about stress, sadness, worry, relationships, academic performance, family problems and financial struggles.
Please note: This service is not a substitute for formal counseling and does not constitute mental health treatment. Let's Talk is NOT set up for crisis services. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency or feel unsafe, please click here for emergency resources. Because it is not therapy, e-Let’s Talk is available for students not currently in Colorado.
Let’s Talk is especially helpful for students who...
- Aren’t sure about counseling or wonder what it’s like to talk with a counselor;
- Aren’t interested in ongoing counseling but would like the perspective of a counselor;
- Have a specific problem and would like someone with whom to talk it through; or,
- Have a concern about a friend or family member and would like ideas about what to do
Please note that this service is provided on a first-come, first-served basis only during the hours of 10-11 and 3-4 (weekdays). You will receive an email from a CAPS counselor with a link to a video session when it is your turn. If you do not receive a response within 15 minutes, please call CAPS at 303.492.2277 and ask to be transferred to the clinician line.
If you have submitted this form outside of e-Let's Talk hours, please re-submit between 10 to 11 a.m. or 3 to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. We are unable to respond outside of these hours.
