Starting in September, a new page will provide principal investigators and campus research administrators the ability to view invoices generated for their research awards.

This page was created based on feedback received from campus research administrators to provide greater transparency about invoicing. Initially, the page will have only two tiles; however, it will be utilized for future queries or reports as needs are identified.

Who has access?

While the page is housed in PeopleSoft Finance, access is provided dynamically for those who do not otherwise have FIN access. This means access is provisioned automatically and no additional training is required. This applies to people who are listed as project principal, project manager, or fiscal staff. If you already have PeopleSoft FIN access, nothing will change.

How do you find the new page?

In the MyCUInfo portal, click on the PeopleSoft FIN tile (VPN required). Choose “Sponsored Projects Inquiry” from the upper-right drop-down menu. The Sponsored Projects Invoices tile will open the invoicing query. From there, you can choose which report to run, depending on how you want the information displayed.

What is the launch date?

The target rollout date is September 12. CCO will utilize the RAM distribution list and Tuesday Talks to communicate if the date changes.
