As discussed at a recent Tuesday Talks, we are excited to share that an invoicing query tool has been developed to provide departments, PIs, DRAs and others with visibility on sponsored research billing activities.
We have already had an opportunity to share the query with the revenue management working group and will continue to provide feedback to UIS to ensure the tool continues to function properly.
The Sponsored Project Invoices query was developed primarily for departmental access and was one of the objectives the BRIDGE project set out to achieve. The query allows users to view a list of invoices based on various attributes of an award and related billing, and to allow a drill down to view the actual PDF invoice and supplemental backup data when applicable. The query, found by navigating through either query manager or query viewer, is named “GM_BI_INVOICES”.
