Know when you need to apply to graduate, update your diploma name and more to ensure your celebrations go smoothly. Celebration Dates
- December 12, 2025—Fall 2025 degree conferral date and Recognition ceremonies hosted by colleges, schools, departments and programs
- TBD—Grad Days
- TBD—Grad Bash at Koenig Alumni Center
- May 2, 2026—Commencement 2026 ceremony at Folsom Field and spring degree conferral date
- May 1–3, 2026—Recognition ceremonies hosted by colleges, schools, departments and programs
- TBD—Summer 2026 degree conferral date
Key Graduation Deadlines
Fall 2025
- October 1, 2025—Last day for graduate and MBA students to submit or cancel a graduation application
- November 1, 2025—Last day for law students to submit or cancel a graduation application
- December 5, 2025—Last day for undergraduates to submit or cancel a graduation application
- January 2, 2026—Deadline for undergraduate, master’s and law students to update diploma name and address
- January 28, 2026—Diploma delivery window begins for fall graduates
Spring 2026
- March 1, 2026—Last day for graduate and MBA students to submit or cancel a graduation application
- April 1, 2026—Last day to submit a graduation application to get your name in the 2025–26 commencement program
- April 1, 2026—Last day for law students to submit or cancel a graduation application
- April 25, 2026—Last day for undergraduates to submit or cancel a graduation application
- April 27, 2026—Deadline for doctoral students to update diploma name and address
- May 22, 2026—Deadline for undergraduate, master’s and law students to update diploma name and address
- June 16, 2026—Diploma delivery window begins for spring graduates
