Prepare to graduate by marking your calendar with this year’s important dates and deadlines. Know when you need to apply to graduate, update your diploma name and more to ensure your celebrations go smoothly. Celebration Dates
- December 11, 2026—Fall 2026 degree conferral date and Recognition ceremonies hosted by colleges, schools, departments and programs
- April TBD, 2027—Grad Days
- April TBD, 2027—Grad Bash at Koenig Alumni Center
- May 1, 2027—Commencement 2026 ceremony at Folsom Field and spring degree conferral date
- May 1–3, 2027—Recognition ceremonies hosted by colleges, schools, departments and programs
- August 12—Summer 2027 degree conferral date
Key Graduation Deadlines
Fall 2026
- October 1, 2026—Last day for graduate and MBA students to submit or cancel a graduation application
- November 1, 2026—Last day for law students to submit or cancel a graduation application
- December 4, 2026—Last day for undergraduates to submit or cancel a graduation application
- January 4, 2027—Deadline for undergraduate, master’s and law students to update diploma name and address
- January 27, 2027—Diploma delivery window begins for fall graduates
Spring 2027
- March 1, 2027—Last day for graduate and MBA students to submit or cancel a graduation application
- April 1, 2027—Last day to submit a graduation application to get your name in the 2026–27 commencement program
- April 1, 2027—Last day for law students to submit or cancel a graduation application
- April 24, 2027—Last day for undergraduates to submit or cancel a graduation application
- April 26, 2027—Deadline for doctoral students to update diploma name and address
- May 21, 2027—Deadline for undergraduate, master’s and law students to update diploma name and address
- June 23, 2027—Diploma delivery window begins for spring graduates
