Grad Appreciation Days is a weeklong celebration of you, our graduates in the Class of 2023. Between May 1 and 4, the CU Boulder community will host a variety of events and in-person opportunities open to all graduating students. Check out the schedule below and prepare to begin the celebration!
Cap Decorating at the CU Book Store
May 1-4
9 a.m.–6 p.m.
Visit the CU Book Store to purchase your regalia, the 2023 graduation t-shirt and take some time to decorate your mortarboard cap to wear during commencement. Decorating supplies will be provided.
Campus Photo Opportunities

Are you ready to be in your cap and gown for photos? Graduating students will have the opportunity to take photos at several iconic campus locations on their own, with a group of friends or classmates, or they can even hire a photographer for a personal photo shoot.
Check out the campus map for a complete list of locations will be provided here in advance, and students will be encouraged to share their photos on social media using #ForeverBuffs.

Senior Class Grab & Go Breakfast
May 1
8:30–11:30 a.m.
Ekeley Sciences Kiosk
Kicking off Grad Appreciation Week, Senior Class Council and the CU Boulder Alumni Association are partnering to host a Senior Grab and Go Breakfast. Food is first come, first served.
Grad Bash
May 4
4–7 p.m.
Koenig Alumni Center
Your accomplishments deserve a party! Join your fellow Class of 2023 Forever Buffs at Grad Bash on Thursday, May 4, to celebrate in style. This is your opportunity to kick back and enjoy music, free food and drinks, and plenty of prizes.
