Cognitive Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience
at the University of Colorado Boulder

The Graduate Program in Cognitive Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience trains students to become accomplished researchers and scientists in the functions of the mind and the working of the brain. Our internationally recognized faculty offer expertise that accommodates a wide range of student interests: perception, attention, executive control, computational modeling, learning and memory. We collaborate broadly with our colleagues in the department to study developmental, patient, young and aging populations. We have a close relationships with the Institute of Cognitive Science (ICS) and the Institute for Behavioral Genetics (IBG) that foster collaboration with faculty and students in other departments and other campuses. Our students are expected to develop deep and broad expertise in their areas of interest over the course of their graduate study. (See also the departmental vision statement.)
