Winifred Sekyibea Abakah

Winifred Sekyibea Abakah is a Ph.D. student in the Communication department. Her research focuses on communication, culture, and health-related interactions in the U.S., Ghana, and its neighboring countries. She is particularly interested in exploring the experiences and narratives of cancer patients in various settings, including hospitals, families, and local communities. Winifred holds an M.A. in Communication Studies from Texas Tech University and a  B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana.
