Peter Gbenga

Gbenga Arikenbi is a PhD student in the Department of Advertising, Public Relations and Design at the University of Colorado Boulder. He earned a Master’s degree in Mass Communication at Edo State University Uzairue Nigeria. 

He has previously worked as a researcher for six years before transitioning into academics as a lecturer at the Department of Mass Communication, Caleb University Lagos. 

He is interested in multidisciplinary research and his research interests cut across public relations, development communication and sustainable development. Currently, he is interested in how public relations strategies such as government relations, media relations and stakeholders' engagement can be used in achieving Sustainable Development Goals in Nigeria. 

At his leisure, Gbenga likes to play Scrabble, chess, and monopoly.
