Megan Englert

Megan Englert is a third-year PhD student advised by Dr. Lecia Barker in the Information Technology Education and Contexts (ITEC) Lab. Megan graduated from the University of Delaware in 2023 with dual honors degrees in Computer Science and Art History. For her senior thesis, Megan helped to redesign the hiring, training, and management processes for undergraduate TAs of introductory computer science courses.
Her current research is focused on lightweight strategies for instructors to improve the self-efficacy and persistence of novice programmers in introductory computing classes.
