Jon Featherstone

Bringing 25+ years of experience working within the IT sector as a Microsoft Technical Trainer (MCT) Jon has taught hundreds of technical courses, and worked as a consultant in software development, data engineering and data analytics projects. Over the years Jon has passed over 30 Microsoft exams and certifications, and in the academic year 2021/22, he completed a Master of Science in Data Science at the University of Colorado, Boulder. He believes his “job ready” skills-based approach to teaching will be a worthwhile complement to the wider curriculum of Information Science and will help to round out our graduates with a well-balanced degree that will prepare them for the workforce.
