Celebrating students at our spring showcase

Photos by Kimberly Coffin

INFO’s Spring Showcase is an opportunity for students taking information science courses to share what they learn in the classroom and research labs. This science fair-like experience illustrates how students combine their various passions of public health, media, higher education, music, and the environment with their study of technology. Seniors present their capstone projects—key parts of their portfolios—which include apps and projects they have created in groups.

“The event gives the INFO community a chance to highlight students' hard work and to celebrate outstanding students—especially seniors—with awards, cake, and photos,” shared Evan Peck, associate chair of undergraduate studies and associate professor of information science.
