Join Upkey’s Virtual Internship Program (VIP)
Are you looking for internship opportunities or professional experience this fall? CU Boulder Career Services is partnering with Upkey to offer students access to a virtual professional development, company projects and skill-building program. This complimentary and comprehensive virtual program runs for six weeks starting on Monday, Oct. 5. The program requires 8 to 12 hours of student time per week, including five hours dedicated to live trainings.
Application requirements:
- Undergraduate and graduate students of all levels are eligible.
- Applicants who demonstrate why a program like this would be especially valuable to them are more likely to be accepted. Examples include (but are not limited to):
- Students who lost jobs/internships due to COVID
- First-generation students
- Those with high financial need
- Underrepresented students
- Students who need experience to get in the door in the industry they want to work in.
- Applying sooner is better. Once spots are filled, Upkey can’t accept any more students. The start date of Oct. 5 is just around the corner!
This program includes:
- A capstone project with a company in an industry focus of your choosing. Projects focus on:
- Finance
- Marketing
- Technology
- Research
- Entrepreneurship
- Education
- Ongoing mentorship from one of Upkey’s thousand mentors.
- A professional skills bootcamp and industry exploration.
- Trainings and presentations from leading companies, entrepreneurs and educators.
- Resume and pitch tools to help you refine your professional presence.
Due to CPT processes and the short timeline of this program’s project placement, unfortunately international students will not be able to participate at this time.
