Photos: Student Documentary Film Festival Kicks-off

Faculty, staff and students celebrated the launch of CU-Boulder's first campus-wide student documentary film festival with a reception in the CU Art Museum on Monday, Feb. 29. The competition will conclude with a screening of winners at the art museum on May 5.

According to Ross Taylor, a faculty member in the College of Media, Communication and Information, the purpose of the competition is "to build community around the documentary form, and we hope this event can become an annual tradition at CU. It's also a celebration of the idea of story, which is a universal experience for us all."
