Temi Olorunsogo

Temi Olorunsogo is a PhD Candidate in Information Science at the University of Colorado Boulder and a researcher in the Philanthropic Informatics Lab, advised by Professor Amy Voida. Her research examines how people and organizations use, adapt, and resist emerging technologies, with a focus on responsible AI, nonprofit and resource-constrained contexts, and the values that shape technology adoption.

Using qualitative and participatory methods, Temi studies how organizational priorities, resource constraints, and worker experiences shape technology decisions. Her broader research interests include human-computer interaction, workplace wellbeing, data and information practices, and technology support. Across this work, she is particularly interested in the intersection of technology, philanthropy, and social impact.

Before beginning her PhD, Temi worked across technology project management, knowledge management, training, and social-impact consulting with nonprofit, government, and private-sector organizations. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Information Systems Management from Middlesex University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering.

Outside of research, Temi enjoys personal shopping and styling, running, yoga, and dancing.
