Dani R. Soibelman (M.A., University of Texas) is a doctoral candidate in Organizational Communication. Their dissertation work focuses on trans/gender-expansive activism and the processes of archiving queer histories. Dani situates history and its curation as an organizing process and investigates the relationships between historical materials, archivists, and the institutions that house them. As an instructor, Dani teaches through trauma-informed lenses that encourage students to expand their knowledge and skill sets whilst prioritizing their holistic well-being. In addition to their doctoral studies, Dani is a theater performer, labor union advocate, and board game aficionado
