Raaj Chandran holds an MBA from Ohio State University and an MA in mass communication from University of Florida.

He has two decades of communication management, public relations, advertising and marketing experience in Canada, the United States and Singapore, with exposure to 17 countries across Europe, Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

In his career, Raaj has served as communication leader for Europe and Asia for a global environmental engineering firm, director of communications for a national nonprofit in Washington, D.C., corporate communications manager for an American luxury retailer in the Middle East and communication manager for a natural resources research agency in Florida. Presently he runs his own consulting agency, Verafluenti.

He has taught at the National University of Singapore, Royal Roads University in Canada and Purdue University in the Unites States.

Raaj has published Sensible Corporate Practices for Better Relations, several blog pieces and poems.

Environmental preservation, affordable and well-rounded education, creation of ethical, tolerant and vibrant work cultures and intercultural harmony are some of the causes close to his heart. 

Raaj's research interests include strategic communication in an era of world citizenship, cultural sensitivity in international communication and a humanist approach to communication.
