Kerry Love graduated from the University of Central Florida and worked in radio before earning her graduate degree from Clemson University. Her thesis "Women, Birth Control Pills, and Thrombophilia: An Analysis of Risk Communication" (published under Kerry Gomer) has been downloaded more than 2,400 times from readers around the world. She has been teaching college for over ten years and has taught at Clemson University and the College of Charleston, before joining CU Boulder. 

Kerry is also a certified yoga teacher and likes to incorporates mindfulness practices into her classes. When not teaching, she writes novels, poetry, and essays. She is a published author and artist who is passionate about her students and helping them find their authentic voice.
