Christiane “Chrissy” Harrison is the assistant dean of administration. In her role, Chrissy works closely with college leadership, faculty, and staff across CMCI to implement systems, structures and processes to support the successful continued growth of the newest college at CU Boulder. Chrissy’s areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
- Personnel strategy and employee experience for faculty, staff, and student employees
- Space and facilities
- Technology
- Organization development
Chrissy has over 25 years of experience as a business owner with expertise in organization development, human resources, construction management, and process improvement. Chrissy strives to find areas of continuous improvement for the administrative infrastructure of the CMCI because it directly affects the learning, research, and creative missions of the college and institution.
Prior to joining CMCI in 2019, Chrissy worked with the central campus HR team as the onboarding manager who designed and implemented the campuswide orientation tour and inaugural onboarding program. In addition to being a CU employee for the past decade, and a second-generation CU alumna, Chrissy is also the parent of two CU graduates and as such, is dedicated to the success of the institution. Outside of work, Chrissy enjoys volunteering in the community and spending time with her family.
