Strategic Communication

"Sometimes, our personalities tend to switch when we hang around friends, family, or even our significant others. We have our individualisms always with us, but our dynamics seem to change when we are around someone we care for. The different colored lights are a representation of what changes when we are with certain people. I had the models pose around and in these various light sculptures. The artificial light still lit up their faces & bodies; however, there was more room for different poses and interaction. It was art within art. I also asked my models to dress as though they were going to shoot for the cover of Vogue for this photoshoot. Although I still did not tell them how to pose, I wanted them to choose how they wanted to be seen. 'Independent' portrays the sense of individuality and how one wants to be seen by others.
