The Department of Critical Media Practices is hiring two positions. 

The Scholar in Residence will have expertise in one or more of the following: performance media, immersive media, virtual reality / augmented reality / XR, technocultural studies,  computational art and/or digital art practices. The successful candidate will have historical and contemporary knowledge of critical theory pertaining to digital arts and demonstrative creative achievement in media arts practices. Application review begins November 1st, 2019.

The Associate Professor will be an expert in one or more of the following: documentary media practices, sound practices, performance media practices, immersive media practices, media production, emergent technologies, or other related fields. Responsibilities include course development and teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate level, providing leadership in undergraduate education, and serving on graduate thesis and dissertation committees. Application review begins January 1st, 2020.
