Stacey Steers

Stacey’s animated short films have been screened throughout the U.S. and abroad and have received numerous awards. Her work has been featured at the Sundance Film Festival, Telluride Film Festival, Locarno International Film Festival, Rotterdam International Film Festival, New Directors New Films, New York, MoMA, The Lincoln Center, New York City, and the National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C. Her collaborative installations have had solo exhibitions at the Centre de Cultura Contemporània, Barcelona; George Eastman Museum, Rochester, New York; Denver Art Museum; Museum of Contemporary Art Denver; and the Cinémathèque québécoise, Montreal. Stacey is a recipient of major grants from the Guggenheim Foundation, Creative Capital, and the American Film Institute. She is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and contributes to the CINE community in various modes of teaching and mentorship.
