Hiring Interns for Honorarium or Credit!
What you need: To be a CU Student, a phone & computer, video samples
What you get:Learn about video production, the business around it, money, power, and fame! Well, there's hardly any money but that other stuff for sure!
Description of Duties: Administrative and post production management. Assistant camera work and editing duties. Sound recording. And yes, coffee getting.
Payment for Services: Buck Ross Productions or “Buck Ross” will offer it’s equipment to students for use whenever equipment is available and usage requests are reasonable. For both internships, there is a $300 honorarium awarded to the student at the completion of the internship. For the internship for credit, BRP will aid in reviews and paperwork needed for the student to also gain credit hours at CU.
Time Commitment: The honorarium internship is 3 months in length and offered year round depending on position availability. The internship for credit is a semester long and offered near the start of each school semester and/or summer.
Equipment: Students will need to provide a working phone and computer. Buck Ross will provide any and all needed additional equipment from video editing systems to all needed camera equipment.

What Students Will Learn:
This is real world film/video production work in a local company. Students will learn about all stages of video production (pre-production, shooting, editing) as well as the different business elements involved with production company management (marketing, admin, organization, etc).
Hours of Work Required per Week:
For either internship opportunity 8-10 hrs/week is required. For honorarium internship, the term is 12 weeks (3 months). For the college credit internship, the term is usually a semester in length, but contingent on the amount of credit student is working for and the advice of the university.
