Please describe any travel or experiences that have prepared you for the Global Engineering RAP. This can include international travel and study abroad or any travel or experiences within the US that have showed you new perspectives, cultures or languages. If you have not had the chance yet to travel, please share where you would like to travel and why. I have currently worked for a construction company for the past two years and have a good understanding of how cost usually communicates to the quality of a building. During these years working in high-end residential, I have also learned and realized that the interior functionality of a building is usually lost the more expensive a house gets. As a result of working in the construction industry, I am surrounded by a culturally diverse population which has allowed me to use my Spanish to communicate with others in order to get the job done. One summer traveled to San Francisco a few years ago to shadow a construction company for a week. The company at the time was working on an electric railway within San Francisco. While shadowing, I got to tour the company's offices along with exploring the construction site and see blueprints turn into life.
