I have lived 15 years in Senegal then I migrated to the United States. While living in Senegal, I did not notice many problems. That was the normal for me and for anyone else that was living in my country.
But once I came to the United States, Water and ELectricity were available everyday. I thought about what would make a difference with my life. I hope to leave something meaningful to the future generation. And I know by living with people with the same mindset, I might be able to achieve it
I don't mind living with anyone as long as we both know our boundaries. But I would prefer someone cleaner and smarter than me. I know that will push me to study/clean more. I like to compete so hopefully that makes me better.
I want to be ready as an engineer to help my home country Senegal. Poverty, Famine, and Financial problems are hurting some of the people I grew up with and half the population. Providing opportunities and jobs to people will drop the crime rate. I also want to study graphene technology so that ocean water can be desalinized for cheaper.
As a person, I want to learn about anyone who shares the same dream as me. Helping around the world because no one deserves to be born in a harsh environment. I want to be with the people that are willing to take the step to make this world a better place and make me a better me.
