I will be honest, I do not have any international travel or study abroad experiences that will prepare me for the Global Engineering RAP program. I have been engaged in my studies at my high school along with sports and and working a part-time job in my free time. My hope is that being part of the Global Engineering RAP program, I will get the opportunity to meet and work with international students which will help me grow as a person and help me prepare for my future career.
I would love nothing more than to live down the hall from numerous engaging engineering students, that are friendly and willing to take on challenges as a group. I want to be able to connect with as many people as possible in the Global Engineering RAP program to build a community that can be effective at working together as a group on projects, studying and more. I know that my time in the engineering program will be challenging if I attempt to tackle it on my own which is why I applied to the Global Engineering RAP program. The opportunity to live in close proximity with other like-minded students in the engineering program would be the best possible scenario to enable me for success at CU.
I want to be a member of the Global Engineering RAP at CU Boulder because after doing research on the different residence halls at CU Boulder, the Global Engineering RAP program offered the most intriguing living experiences available. The ability to live and study with all engineering students sounds amazing to me because I will be able to connect with other students in the same educational experience as myself. Through these friendships I believe I will learn how to better work together in groups, large and small, throughout my time in college for projects and more. With the experience of teamwork that I will be exposed to in the Global Engineering RAP program, I will become much more prepared for my life after graduation and in my career and I will have the experience in the Global Engineering RAP program to thank for it.
