Please explain why you want to be a member of the Global Engineering RAP at CU Boulder. Please include how you think this community will contribute to your training as an engineer and as a person and how you plan to contribute personally to the residential community: Throughout life, one constant fact is the world is large and a person is small. It puts into perspective every attempt at making an impact on the world. But it is never as simple as that phrase. An impact, no matter how small, creates change in at least one person’s heart and mind, defining it as significant.

My goal in life has always been to create these small impacts until I can create bigger ones. An opportunity to participate in the Global Engineering RAP would help me create this large impact. By creating new inventions which change numerous developing and modern countries, I can positively impact numerous places and perhaps change the world. Working with a group of diverse engineers and individuals provides a creative and rare environment optimal for approaching complex thinking, new inventions, new classes, and new places. It creates an open and accepting community which supports everyone.

I support those around me by prioritizing optimism and creativity. I hope to brighten the day of all those around me through small acts of kindness or comedy. The value of improving one's day is unparalleled, as presented by the carefree, bright smiles on their faces. When facing adverse situations, I approach the problem with multiple aspects through my creativity and resolve the issue.

I believe being a part of the Global Engineering RAP would be a great opportunity to improve my understanding of the world and all the wonderful things it has to offer, and with my positivity and creativity, along with my dedication, I am prepared for it.
