Aerospace Engineering
French (5), English (5), Spanish (3), German (2)
I've been fortunate to travel extensively throughout my life. Half-French on my mother's side, I was born in Nice and lived in New Zealand for three years, where my little brother was born. Afterward, we moved to the Bay Area and then to Maryland (DC area), where I attended kindergarten through 5th grade. During this time, I had friends from all over the world and attended both French and German schools on weekends. Every summer, I flew back to Europe for a month of French school and family visits.
My experiences continued in 6th grade when I lived in Aix en Provence, attending a local private school. I also attended a space camp in Belgium, which allowed me to visit the European Space Agency and travel to Italy twice. These trips to Italy gave me profound insights into religion, history, art, and architecture. I also spent a winter break in England exploring London and coastal towns.
Returning to the U.S., I attended a space camp in Alabama, fueling my passion for NASA. In 8th grade, I moved to Coronado, California, and later to Point Loma, California, in 10th grade. Despite challenges like COVID, I accompanied my mother on business trips for the Global Business Intensives at Pepperdine, where I helped plan the Association for Consumer Research conference in Paris, visited companies like Microsoft and LinkedIn in Dublin, and will soon be visiting food companies in Switzerland. I also attended a Navy flight academy in Delaware and an astronomy camp with the University of Arizona.
These experiences have given me a deep understanding of different cultures and shaped me into who I am today.

Living in the Global Engineering RAP, I'd love to have a hallmate who complements my personality and interests. Firstly, a great sense of humor is important. Since we'll be tackling challenging engineering concepts and the demands of academics, having someone who can lighten the mood and bring a positive vibe to our space would be great.
I'm passionate about aerospace and science, and it would be amazing if my hallmate shared this passion or had a strong interest in another subject they could teach me about. Whether it's discussing the latest advancements in space exploration or talking about their passion that I know nothing about, I'm eager to learn and expand my knowledge alongside them.
Given the rigorous nature of engineering studies, I appreciate a hallmate who is willing to learn and study together. Collaboration is key to success, and having a supportive partner to work on tough assignments with or learn about new concepts would be incredibly helpful.
Health and well-being are also priorities for me. I value eating well, staying active, and maintaining a clean and organized living space. It would be great to have a hallmate who shares these values, making it easier for us to encourage each other to prioritize our health, cook yummy meals together, stay active, and keep our living environment tidy to keep us productive and well.
Overall, I envision a hallmate who not only shares my passion for learning but also brings humor, a willingness to teach and learn, a collaborative spirit, and a focus on health and well-being to the RAP.

I'm excited about the chance to join CU Boulder's Global Engineering RAP because it's the perfect fit for someone like me, with a diverse background and a deep passion for aerospace engineering. My past, filled with international experiences and cultural immersion, has prepared me to contribute meaningfully to this RAP.
My past experiences, from living in different countries to attending space camps and accompanying my mother on global business trips, have shaped my perspective and skills. I bring to the table a ton of knowledge about different cultures, a strong work ethic, and a collaborative spirit from working with many diverse teams.
In the Global Engineering RAP, I plan to contribute by sharing my insights that I've learned from my travels. I'm excited to be a part of discussions, workshops, and projects that blend engineering with global perspectives, and believe this will be a wonderful rich learning opportunity.
Additionally, I'm committed to promoting a healthy and inclusive living space within the community. Drawing from my experiences in maintaining a clean and organized environment during my aviation training at the academy, I'll actively contribute to creating a space where everyone feels comfortable and supported so they can have the best time at Boulder.
Overall, I see myself as an active participant in the Global Engineering RAP, bringing not only my academic strengths but also my diverse experiences and a strong sense of community.
