Environmental Engineering
English(5) French(2) Norwegian (2)
I've travelled to Alaska, and did a two a week environmental service program working closely with the local Native American populations. I've gone to cultural immersion trips in France, Switzerland, and Italy, where I've seen the nuances and ideals that I would have never expected in America. I work for an Italian restaurant, and all of my coworkers are from Italy, and have told me countless stories and great advice from their unique perspectives.
Someone who complements me in the best ways possible. They work well with me, but also push me and teach me things that I don't know. Someone with new experiences, close enough to me so that we can become friends, and different enough so that we can show each other the things the other did not know.
I'd love in my future to apply my engineering studies in a global fashion, and living abroad has been a dream of mine since I was young. My mom spent time in England and France, and my aunt has spent time in Northern Africa and South America, and their stories have had me excited to pursue this dream for years. There are certain mannerisms and things that you can only learn from travel, and putting two of my biggest passions, exploration and engineering, together would allow me to find opportunities in incredibly exciting fields.
