Antes Muerto Cine is a film collective based in Buenos Aires, committed to producing documentary and experimental cinema. Their collaboration began during a protest at a public university, where they captured images and sounds that confronted and explored their surrounding reality. Since that moment, they have aimed to cultivate a practice that connects past and future experiences, striving to reclaim the absurd and everyday beauty often lost amidst chaos. They seek to create vibrant films, whether crafted in private or on the streets, that emerge from spontaneous insights and embrace playful experimentation. Believing that filmmaking is inherently linked to its production process, they view friendship and comradery as key elements of their creative endeavors.
