Third Funding Cycle

1. CU Gaming “Press Start to Continue,” January 28th, 2022, 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM in Glenn Miller Ballroom

2. Asian Studies Graduate Association “2022 CU Asian Studies Graduate Association (CUBASGA) Conference,” February 19th–20th, 2022, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM via Zoom

      1. Anuja- did you all have a funding meeting with them?

3. Middle Eastern Student Association, “Middle East Night,” February 17th, 2022, 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Rec Center

      1. Had to move event to Saturday the 19th (from Thursday the 17th)

         1. Ensure that they have informed PC

Second Funding Cycle

1. South Asian Student Association “Step Up CU,” December 4th, 2021

   1. Advertising 

      1. Instagram

      2. No Tabling

      3. No Postering

      4. Advertising budget will come back to us

         1. Advertising was poor overall

   2. Logistics

      1. Event started a little late

      2. There were weird pauses between performances

      3. Multiple small logistical mistakes that added up

      4. “RC Rentals” is not reliable and was responsible for many of the shortcomings of the event

   3. Content

      1. Dances were all very, very good

      2. Speakers not being set up properly messed up with 3 of the dance groups

         1. Also damaged the energy of the audience which partly ruined the event for everyone

   4. Future Notes

      1. Don’t use RC Rentals

      2. If using mats, ensure that they are properly secured

      3. Go through a full dress rehearsal to ensure the event runs smoothly

      4. Give time to test sound, audio, etc, pay for more equipment rental/time 

         1. Account for time to test equipment at the start of the event.

      5. Make sure that CEB receives the final copy of the poster before it is printed and put up

   2. Payroll Update: 

      1. Aneesh: Waiting on ratification letter from CUSG (offer letter) 

      2. All others: Followed up with campus HR today -- original person we were working with left university for another, so have been routed to another staff member to get things figured out. 

      3. Newly elected members: Alexis or Erin will be in touch to get you hired 

   3. CSI is hiring several event planner positions -- tell your friends! :) 

2. Leg Council

   1. This is Suvu’s last meeting

      1. We will most likely have a new rep by next session

   2. The next rep will handle ratifications for Taylor, Cole, Allie

      2. A Feb date may be better as we will get enough time to fully plan out the logistics of the event

      3. Consider not doing more than one collaboration with the same group during a semester

         1. Anuja and Maya are talking to PC about potential collaborations as well
