Preamble- Mission Statement
Despite the lack of clear diversity on the University of Colorado Boulder’s campus, our collective social and cultural goal is to create a safe space for all individuals on campus and tackle the daily racism present at CU-Boulder. We have developed distinct values, beliefs and behaviors, which have greatly benefited the Boulder community. This collective consciousness enables our community and helps define our own identity as underrepresented students at the University of Colorado Boulder. We, Black Student Alliance of the University of Colorado Boulder, do hereby establish our organization, and draft this constitution in accordance with the policies of the University of Colorado Boulder so that our purpose will be defined and realized to its fullest extent.
