In this video, University of Colorado Boulder dance instructor Larry Southall (shown above) performs A Day in the Life, a moving hip-hop performance set to Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. Southall says, "I just wanted to do something different, outside the box and speak to what is going on in our society and what has been going on. People are well aware of it, with the death of George Floyd, rest in peace, but I wanted to speak to it through my art."

"And you do so, powerfully, my friend," answers Erika Randall, chair of the Department of Theatre and Dance.
