The Graduate School is pleased to recognize 18 dedicated faculty members who received this year’s outstanding faculty mentor awards. The nomination materials showcased their many contributions to mentoring graduate students and supporting the mission of graduate education.
Kim Dickey will be included in Women to Watch, a recurring national exhibition program at the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, D.C.
The Colorado Committee for the National Museum of Women in the Arts has funded our state's inclusion in Women to Watch, a recurring national exhibition program at the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, D.C. The Committee selected Nora Burnett Abrams, Ph.D., Mark G. Falcone Director, MCA, to curate our nominee portfolio for the upcoming 2024 exhibition. Kim Dickey, Ana Maria Hernando, Maia Ruth Lee, Suchitra Mattai and Senga Nengudi have been nominated by Ms. Abrams, and will now be considered for inclusion in the 2024 Women to Watch exhibition at NMWA. The final exhibition list will be announced in March, 2023.

Jeanne Liotta's embodied and elegaic essay on hand processed artist films in the AIDS era, "Enter Germs, Enter the World,“ has just been published in the spring '22 issue of Millennium Film Journal #75 --one of the longest-running journals on moving image arts.

Lia is the recipient of a 2022 Employee of the Year Award! This year five outstanding staff members in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Colorado Boulder were celebrated.
The Employee of the Year Award is presented annually to College of Arts and Sciences staff in recognition and appreciation of exceptional job performance.
Cory McKague, Grad, Sculpture & Post-studio Practice
Cory was recently awarded a 2022 Tall Grass Residency, a program inspired by prairie and place.
The Tallgrass Artist Residency seeks to create connection and conversation across the Great Plains through engagement with the prairie ecosystem. This program of the Kansas Creative Arts Industries Commission is centered in the small community of Matfield Green, Kansas near the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve. They work with local organizations to house artists and host events in addition to collaborating with other partners throughout the Flint Hills region.
