If you decide to drop one or more of your enrolled or waitlisted classes, use the Menu and click Drop under Enroll. Click the checkbox next to the class you'd like to drop and click Drop Selected Classes. Review your selection, then click Finish Dropping.

Dropping a class

Classes may be dropped in MyCUInfo during your assigned enrollment appointment, the schedule adjustment period and the open enrollment period through the drop deadline. See the Add/Drop Calendar for specific dates and deadlines.

Drops may be done in MyCUInfo through the 10-week deadline in fall and spring terms. However, drops made after the 3-week drop date will result in a W grade posted on the transcript, and full tuition and fees will be assessed. See the Add/Drop calendar for specific dates and deadlines.

After the 10-week deadline, please contact your advisor, school or college for information about the requirements for requesting a late drop. A petition and supporting documentation may be required.

Dropping ALL of your Main Campus classes constitutes withdrawal, and has a different impact on your tuition and fees. See Withdraw from CU for more information.

Administrative drops

Administrative drops can occur for two reasons: nonattendance and missing required course prerequisites or co-requisites. You must attend class regularly to guarantee your place in a class during the first two weeks of the semester. If you fail to attend, you may be administratively dropped at the discretion of the department offering the course; however, this is not guaranteed. Check with your instructor regarding his or her specific policy regarding administrative drops for nonattendance. Check your schedule to confirm any and all drops.
