- 3,000 - 5,000 students use the Rec Center everyday!
- 91% of students view recreation and fitness as very important to relieving stress and supporting overall well-being
- The Rec Center needs $25 million in repairs alone to maintain the current building
- We have to vote to create a functional Rec Center for future CU students
- New student fee begins Fall 2013 (upon substantial completion)
- Then new Rec Center will be LEED© Gold certified
- Cardio and weight space will be doubled in the new Rec Center
