The Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance (OIEC), under the leadership of Associate Vice Chancellor and Title IX Coordinator, Llen Pomeroy, employs a comprehensive and integrated approach for case resolution, education, assessment, support services, and ADA accommodations to create and foster a safe, inclusive, and accessible campus environment for all members of the CU community and the general public. See CU Boulder's nondiscrimination statement.

The university is committed to preventing and addressing discrimination and harassment based on race, color, national origin, pregnancy, sex, age, disability, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, veteran (military service) status, marital status, political affiliation, or political philosophy.

OIEC implements and enforces four university policies to ensure nondiscrimination for students, staff, faculty, volunteers, affiliates, and visitors: Discrimination and Harassment; Sexual Misconduct, Intimate Partner Violence and Stalking; Conflict of Interest in Cases of Amorous Relationships and Lactation Space.
