Additional Requirements by Course:

  • Advanced Horror Fiction Writing at the Stanley Hotel requires you submit a 20-30 page writing sample, preferably in the horror writing genre.
  • The Development of American Musical Theatre on Broadway requires you to submit a 500-word essay on why you want to take this class; please include whether you've ever been to New York City.
  • Ecology and Adaptation: Animals & Humans in the Yellowstone Ecosystem requires you to submit a two-page, single-spaced essay in which you describe:
    • Your past and current experiences and engagement with the natural world (ecology, environment, animals), including coursework, internships, research and also more personal experiences such as birdwatching, backpacking, camping, etc.
    • What you hope to get out of this class both intellectually and personally.

Accepted students will receive an email notification by November 2, 2018 with required next steps for enrollment. A confirmation form and non-refundable $500 deposit are required by 5 p.m. on November 12, 2018 in order to be enrolled in the program.

Withdraw Policies: Students who withdraw after December 24 will receive a grade of W on their transcripts and no tuition refund.

Course Cancellations: Students will be notified by November 12, 2018 if their course has been cancelled due to low enrollment. It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you DO NOT book your lodging or purchase airline tickets until after November 12 to ensure your course will be running.
