Yaffa Truelove is an Assistant Professor of Geography and International Affairs at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Her research focuses on urban water politics, gendered approaches to water in/security and inequality, and cities of the global South. Her research projects include analyses of precarious waterscapes in Delhi and Mumbai, contributing to theorizations of urban and feminist political ecologies, Southern and comparative urbanism, and “actually existing” modalities of urban water governance in postcolonial cities. Prior to joining the University of Colorado, she completed her PhD in Geography at the University of Cambridge in 2015, and was Assistant Professor of Urban Studies at Yale-NUS College until 2017.
