How contextual factors affect latrine extraction and disposal behaviors

Shelby is currently a Junior majoring in Environmental Engineering and minoring in Engineering Management at CU Boulder. She spent the summer of 2018 working as an undergraduate research assist, helping doctoral student James Harper conduct research looking into how human behavior affects fecal sludge management in rural, low-income communities. After graduation, Shelby hopes to pursue a master's degree in Environmental Engineering with a focus in Drinking Water, Wastewater, and Water Reuse Treatment and continue to pursue her passion for development work. Outside of her coursework, Shelby is a member of the CU Triathlon team and loves to trail run.
