Ryan Mahoney

Ryan B. Mahoney is Project Director for the WASH Benefits Study at Innovations for Poverty Action Kenya. The WASH Benefits Study is a randomized controlled trial investigating the impact water, sanitation, hygiene and nutrition have on child growth and development. Ryan has spent the past two years in western Kenya managing the logistics, implementation and partner relations for the study. Previously Ryan worked on the Reinventing the Toilet Challenge at the University of Colorado where he explored innovative waste treatment and resource recovery processes. He also has experience managing and evaluating WASH projects in Latin America with Engineers Without Borders and ACTS Honduras. In addition, Ryan has a M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and a B.S. from Northeastern University.
