I have a strong background in water and sanitation and hygiene and rural development project. I hold a Master Degree of Business Administration in Cambodia and Executive Master in Development Study in The Graduate Institute – Geneva in Switzerland. With more than 11 years of experience relating to water, sanitation and hygiene program design and development. I have mutual experience in rainwater harvesting formalization in many areas in Cambodia as arsenic affected area and mountainous area. In particular, I have conducted various study on the field of rainwater related field and also expertise in rainwater harvesting projects in Cambodia.
I am the executive director of RWC and is committed to helping RainWater Cambodia work towards its Vision and Mission of helping the All citizens access to drinking water and sanitation are accessible and equitable. I have designed various WASH projects and received many support from donor on WASH as UNICEF, World Food Program, UNDP and Global Sanitation Fund via Plan International Cambodia on the field WASH in particular rainwater harvesting for more than hundred schools and communities across Cambodia.
The Colorado WASH Symposium 2019 mission is really motivated and good opportunity to me to apply for abstract presentation from our experience and research in which sharing and getting comments from researcher, practitioner, university, government, NGOs and donors. In addition, that would be a good networking with all participants to further future research and project collaborations. The program design for the Symposium has also included the breakout sessions, in which learning opportunity on the WASH related topic from differences regions. As an active NGO in the WASH sector in Cambodia, I strongly hope that all learning and networking on WASH could contribute to our Cambodia to successfully achieve its SDG #6 Clean Water and Sanitation.
